A Day Of Laughter
“Hey Squid Girl!” Eiko shouted, as she stood at the entrance of the ‘Lemon Beach House’. The girl watched as Squid Girl, devoured another plate of shrimp that her older sister, Chizuru, had given her. “I want you to sweep up in here, understand?” The girl demanded.
“Huh?” Squid Girl said, when she finished licking the plate, that had once had dozens of pieces of shrimp on it.
“You heard me!” Eiko snapped, holding the broom out to the girl. “Take this and start sweeping!”
“No squidding way!” Squid girl snapped. “Why the ink should I, degeso!?
“Do I have to keep reminding you about that hole in our wall?” Eiko asked.
Squid Girl glanced angrily over at the wall that she had once busted a giant hole in. The hole had now been fixed, and didn’t even look like anything had broken it. “It’s fixed now isn’t it, degeso!?”
“What about all the free food you consume?” Eiko asked.
“I ink you should have to feed me! In any case, I’m not sweeping the floor!” And with that, Squid Girl ran from the ‘Lemon Beach House’ as fast as she could. Eiko could barely contain her anger. Her shoulders shook, and she fought the urge to chase after the girl. “Nothing, but a spoiled… little!”
“Are you ok Eiko?” Said Cindy Campbell, walking up to the girl. Eiko turned. She hadn’t noticed the American scientist. “I see the squidian is giving you trouble again.”
“She’s not a squidian!” Eiko said, angrily. “She’s just a brat!”
Cindy smiled at Eiko. It was a smile Eiko knew, all too well. “How would you like to take control of her?”
Eiko couldn’t help, but furrow her eyebrows. She knew what kinds of inventions Cindy and the three stooges back at their base, were capable of inventing. “What do you mean control?” The girl asked, nervously.
“I mean good old fashion discipline,” Cindy said.
“You want me to… spank her?” Eiko asked.
Cindy shook her head. “No,” the girl said, getting to her feet. “I’ve seen you whack her several times before, and not once has it ever changed her behavior, has it?” The girl asked, placing her hands high on her hips. “You know what has changed her though? Tickling!”
“Tickling?” Eiko said, remembering the time she had taught Squid Girl about tickling. She remembered how Squid Girl had walked around the ‘Lemon Beach House’ tickling random customers, all of that had come to an end however when she tried to tickle Chizuru. Unfortunately that also got Eiko a good tickling as well. “Yeah… I remember…”
“Great! So here you go!” Cindy began, reaching behind her back and removing several items. The first item she gave Eiko looked like a laser pistol.
“Look,” Eiko began, holding up the pistol. “I might be mad at her, but there’s no way in hell I’m going to use this on her.”
“Trust me!” Cindy said.
“SQUIDDY!” Came the unmistakable voice of Sanae.
“Watch this!” Cindy said, aiming the gun at Sanae, who was charging up the beach, making her way over to the shop.
“WAIT!” Eiko cried, but it was too late. A beam of energy exploded from the gun, striking Sanae. With a loud squeak, the girl tumbled over. Eiko felt warm tears well up in the corners of her eyes, and a lump form in her throat. “SANAE!” She cried, running over to her friend. The girl rolled her over and gasped. Sanae was sound asleep.
“It’s a sleep pistol!” Cindy said. “And it’ll only last five minutes, plenty of times to fit this on Squid Girl.” The girl said, handing over the next item to Eiko. The next items looked like a belt and dozens of small metallic cuffs, each cuff had a string that connected it to each other.
“What is this for?” Eiko asked, wiping the tears out of her eyes.
“Just wrap this belt around her waist, use these bigger cuffs to tie her hands behind her back and these smaller ones around each of her tentacles. If you do that, she won’t be able to use her tentacles on you,” Cindy said.
“I see…” Eiko said, looking down at the items she now held. The girl wasn’t sure if she should really use them against Squid Girl, but she made up her mind once Sanae opened her eyes. “Alright, I’ll do it!”
Several minutes later Eiko was making her way into her house. “Squid Girl!?” She shouted.
“What the ink do you want, degeso!?” Squid Girl called back, from the living room.
Eiko walked inside and saw the girl was watching television while eating another plate of shrimp. “Where’s Chizuru and Takeru?” The girl asked.
“How the squid should I know, degeso?” Squid Girl said, not taking her eyes from the television set. “Maybe you should swim outside and look!”
Eiko could feel her anger once again boil up inside her. “I’m sorry Squid Girl, but you need to be punished!”
“What the squid do you…” Squid Girl began, taking her eyes away from the television. She saw Eiko was pointing a laser pistol at her. “Wait one kraken minute, degeso!”
Eiko ignored her and fired a laser at the girl. The beam struck Squid Girl in the chest, seconds later she was lying unconscious on the floor. “It worked!” Eiko said, excitedly. It was then the girl remembered she only had five minutes to get squid girl ready for her punishment.
Wrapping the belt around Squid Girl’s waist, Eiko bound her hands tightly behind her back using the two metallic cuffs designed to hold them. Finally she slid the tiny cuffs around each of the girl’s tentacles. When she was finished, she waited for Squid Girl to wake up.
Before Squid Girl’s eyes flashed open, Eiko started to have regrets, but shoved those aside. “No! She has to learn her lesson!” Eiko thought.
“What the squid, degesso?” Squid Girl breathed, opening her eyes. Instantly the girl saw that she couldn’t move. “What the fin is going on here! Let me out you kraken mollusk, degesso!”
Eiko smiled evilly. “Sorry Squid Girl, but it’s time for a punishment!”
“I don’t think so!” Squid Girl said. “The only one of us who’s going to be punished is you!” Squid Girl tried to free herself using both her hands, and tentacles, but the cuffs and string held tightly. “What the…!” Squid Girl cried.
“You can thank Cindy for this invention!” Eiko said, grabbing Squid Girl’s feet, and trapping them both under her left arm.
“Wh-what the squid are you going to do, degesso!?” Squid Girl asked, as the color drained from her cheeks.
“Nothing much, just tickle you to death!” Eiko said, as she began tickling both of Squid Girl’s feet with one hand.
“NO!” Squid Girl cried. When she felt fingers raking themselves across the girl’s bare soles, she instantly started laughing hysterically. “NO… DEGESSO!” Squid Girl cried, through her ticklish laughter. The girl’s cheeks grew bright red and instantly tears appeared in the corners of her eyes, but she wasn’t even close to start crying.
Eiko tickled Squid Girl’s right foot mercilessly for several seconds, before moving onto the next one. She kept this up for a few more seconds before she started tickling the girl’s right foot once more.
“PLEASE… STOP!” Squid Girl cried, but Eiko ignored her.
Eiko raked her fingers up and down Squid Girl’s right foot for several seconds, she than dug her index finger between each of her toes, tickling the skin between each one. Finally after several long moments of this, she began attacking her arches and heels.
Squid Girl’s laughter grew louder and louder, and her struggles grew desperate. “STOP… PLEASE… DEGESSO!” Squid Girl cried, but her pleas fell on deaf ears.
“Sorry Squid Girl, but you brought this on yourself!” Eiko said. The girl knew Squid Girl had a punishment coming, but still felt sorry for her. “I know how ticklish she is, I do feel bad…” Eiko thought, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. The girl’s eyes opened quickly. “No! I shouldn’t be the one feeling bad right now, you should!” Eiko shouted at Squid Girl, over her right shoulder.
“STOP… HELP!” Squid Girl cried.
“No one can…” Eiko began, but stopped in mid-sentence when the door was flung open and Chizuru, who was quickly followed by Takeru, entered the house.
“What’s going on here?” Chizuru asked, blushing and giggling.
“I uh…” Eiko said, halting her torture.
“SAVE THE SQUIDS!” Squid Girl cried.
Chizuru giggled. “Poor ticklish Squid Girl! Sorry, but you had this coming for a long time. Tickle her as long as you’d like Eiko,” the girl said.
“What the fin!” Squid Girl cried. “Takeru?” The girl than said, turning her eyes to her friend.
“Hmm… Sorry Squid Girlie, but you broke my remote control car. I kind of think you deserve it too…” And with that Takeru and Chizuru headed into the kitchen, leaving the two alone.
“Oh Squid Girl…” Eiko said, smiling evilly at Squid Girl. “It’s time to laugh some more, Squid Girl!” And with that she started tickling her captives feet once more.
A few days later, the sun was about to set and the ‘Lemon Beach House’ was about to be closed for the day. “Hey Squid Girl!” Eiko said, holding up a broom for the girl. “I want you to…”
“You bet your beak I will!” Squid Girl said, using her tentacles to grab the broom from Eiko. “I insist on mopping this place too!”
“I agree, get to it,” Eiko said, nodding.
Cindy had been standing at the entrance of the ‘Lemon Beach House’ for several hours now, watching as Squid Girl took every order from Eiko, without pouting or trying to fight her. “Impressive, huh?” Cindy asked.
“Yeah,” Eiko said, nodding.
“So… How would you like to gain control of your sister next?” Cindy asked.
Eiko closed her eyes and thought hard. “You know what Cindy? I’m crazy enough to take on a squid person who could easily crush me with her tentacles, but I’m not crazy enough to take on my sister!”
